Photographer's Note
Calhau is a small fishing village on the island of São Vicente in Cape Verde, and is situated on the east coast at the eastern of the island, 18 km from the city of Mindelo, on the eastern tip of the island.
The island of São Vicente is an island of essence, glamour and contrasts where you can breathe a characteristic atmosphere, the symbolism of art and Creole culture are very present in everyday life.
