Some rest next to the sea.

Sal is not the right island for trekking because it's hot and very flat (!) but you can certainly have fun if you like surfing (it's windy). Very appropriate when you want to do nothing (which is not something I really like).

It's probably the most touristic island in Cape Verde.

I saw this photo yesterday Marc, but had run out of "smileys" to add one then. It reminds me of the beach in Puerto Vallarta where I went on vacation last June. Wonderful clear water, and I love the footprints in the sand in the foreground. I like your mountain scence better, but who can say anything bad about the beach?? Since you can't see the thing out in the water well I think I would crop it out, it's just a bit distracting.

Sand, Sea, Surf and Sun. Maybe no much else. That's why I prefer other islands of Cape Verde.
