Photographer's Note
No, not Switzerland, not the alps, Santo Antao. This scene can be seen from the Cova do Paul, where the Ribeira do Paul begins. It is a volcanic crater around 1400 m above sea level and below the clouds on the left there is the famous and very fertile Paul valley. Due to altitude the flora in Cova do Paul is very similar to the one of central europe. Below the clouds there will be first mediterranean, then tropical vegetation.
