Photographer's Note
his inhabitant I photographed several times; we joked, he wanted to show me his way of life: the fields, hunting, his house in front of which he posed proudly (he did not invite me to enter, too sad...)
I agree it's a problem with red, but it was very red, preaps not as much?

Hi Christine, I'm not sure why, but your photos from Cameroon all have a very strong red cast. I saw your previous explanation regarding the red dust, but I think there must be some other explanation. Looking at other photographers shots from Cameroon, they don't have the same cast. Maybe the white balance setting on your camera, or perhaps your monitor needs adjustment? Regarding this particular shot, I would have gone for a less central composition, with the man off-centre. There is also a bit of blur caused by camera movement. Couldn't resist having a go at another interpretation in a WS. cheers, Steve

Salut Christine,
On retrouve cette tonalité chaude de tes vues de ce pays d'Afrique, un portrait bien fait avec un sourire qui traduit bien l'impression donnée dans ton titre.

Hello Christine
Red, red, red...and a bright smile in the middle. Not sure how much of this is intended (see also Steve's reaction), but I do like it. Thanks for posting.
Benny
