Bobo-Dioulasso, 2nd city of Burkina-Faso (south-west).

I've already posted a detail of this mosque.

I'd like to add my contribution to the Marine (eversmile)'s theme about mosques.
Indeed, that's not the time : Christmas is a catholic fest, but nowadays mosques and minarets are under critic in Europe (swiss referendum, french debate about the national identity...).
each religion has the right to have a place for its prayers.

This church is indeed very famous, thanks to the unique building material - mud, and the unique structure as well. Good POV with a perspective well created and balanced well with the hanging foliage from the top right. Well done!

Hello Yannis,
You are among the relatively few who have posted photos from Burkina Faso, a country which I found to be very nice and enjoyable, at least 28 years ago.
I have uploades a photp from this mosque too, and although I managed to get two persons in front of it, yours is much better, shot from a different angle an in better light. This is a remarkable building, very dark and and peculiar inside. Did you enter?
Although I am not at all religious, I strongly support every religious group's right to have its places of worship. The campaigns to stop mosques and minarets in Europe is simply outrageous.
