Photographer's Note

Traduction Babel Fish
I hope the translation is not too bad

The boat left! Photo catch in Ile-Grande. Ile-Grande is not any more one island since 1891, date on which a bridge connects it to its commune of fastener: Pleumeur-Bodou. Ile-Grande was a ground of granite extraction white and blue, its exploitation ceased in 1989. This granite was useful for the viaduct of Morlaix and to pave streets of Paris, quays of Boulogne and Dunkirk. A superb ballade consists in making the turn of the Island (seven kilometers) making it possible to discover the small islands which surrounds it as well as the superb beaches of Ile-Grande.
