Hello Jean,
Those who built this must have done a good work, considering the carefully laid stones. But I get a bit confused: Was this actually the house where the farmer and his family lived? Or was it a cow-shed or a place to store hay or equipment? I wouldn't have liked to live here. Three puzzling but very interesting photos, and the enlarged versions show the good quality,

To holmertz: Cow shed?
Hello Gert, I am informed that this would have been either the cow shed or a barn for storing hay.
Unsure as where the house was, we will have to go back and have a better look. We had our grandsons with us and they wanted to move on! Thank you for your interest. Kind regards, Jean.
