Great Royaldevon 2019-07-07 14:49

Hello Paul,

You may not have been allowed into the interior of the temple with your camera but you have still been able to capture the colours and the atmosphere.
Your main photograph has an effect like a tunnel, drawing us inwards, but not a dark tunnel, one that is brightly coloured, depicting gods and patterns.
I wonder why cameras have been forbidden!
Do they sell postcards of the interiors?

I found all your photographs interesting.
Religion still has an obviously greater importance in India than it does in most western countries.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: Security reasons?

Thank you Beverley,

No, I have not seen any postcards of the interiors.
Moreover, the postcard industry in the third world countries that I've visited is not as developed as in Europe.

I don't know the official reason for the ban on shooting ... Some Indians talked about security reasons ... Fear of an attack.

Best wishes,
Paul
