Great tyro 2018-02-09 3:47

Hello Jean,

This is a fascinating and quite remarkable piece of architecture from Gaudi and Guell and you have written an excellent note about it as well as providing three wonderfully varied images for us to admire.

In fact, when i first read your note, my first impression was that you had, in fact, written that book about Gaudi and Parc Guell - maybe you did but I rather suspect you own it though you did not write it! :)

Anyway, three delightful and engaging photographs. I think you were right in choosing the one you did for your main posting as it sets the scene very well whereas the other two of the corridors, passageways and that remarkable gate require a little bit of thought to understand.

But in each of the images you have managed to find the perfect viewpoint to produce a fine and bold composition and you have also managed the strong contrasts in light levels remarkably well.

Kind Regards,

Default To tyro: Not an author!

Hello John, you are quite right, I am not the author of ANY book, and after reading my note, I could see where the information could be mis-interpreted!

The info. was from an excellent book that we picked up at one of Gaudi's houses in the city.
Thank you for your kind comments.
Have a good w/e.
