These Isis idiots want to blow up the pyramids too and destroy all of the world's archaeological treasures. I bet you're glad to have seen these ruins before they were destroyed. The earthy yellow colors contrast well with the blue sky. Tfs!

Hi Chris,
you are right, I'm very glad that I was lucky enough to visit both Syria as well as Libya just before the troubles started there... Both countries are extremely rich with well preserved archaeological treasures (or at least they were well preserved when I visited...). I must say that I do not understand this urge to destoy the past weather we like it or agree with what it represents and I'm always sorry when I hear the news about such destruction. I sometimes think we need some kind of universal mourinng day to remember what has been lost during that year... Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my photo, I appreciate it... MAJA
