Great willperrett 2015-09-16 2:48

Hello Gert

I entirely agree with you about the need for the photographer to "add" something, when taking images of this sort. (You may know the work of Wolfgang Schanze - wolf38 - who sadly hasn't posted for several months now.) Here, here and here are examples of what he does so well. And you do too! It's the space, quirky framing, human presence, and placement of the main focus of interest in the strong thirds position that makes this image work so well. At this level of detail, I can't see any reason for you to apologize about the technical quality either!

Kind regards

Will

Thank you Will,
Yes, I remember Wolfgang very well. I am sure there are many of us who admired his smart and witty photos and deeply regret that he left the site.
Best wishes,
Gert
