Great edge 2015-02-25 16:33

Hello Chris,

I missed this one earlier. I really like the color. The polarizing filter does its job here. I have one on virtually all my lenses, and rarely take it off outside, but it does grab at the light, and I have to bump the ISO up sometimes,

This is a really large body of water. Apparently it is similar to some of our desert lakes where there is not much in the way of living species in the water. Great Salt Lake in Utah is like that.

I looked at the shot again, and marveled at the reflections. Really a fine shot. What in the world were you doing in this rather primitive looking area? I have been to Istanbul twice and also went to Gallipoli for a day to photograph the catastrophe from WW I.

Great shot. Regards, Roger

I spent 3 months traveling all around Turkey. Bursa, Izmir, Selchuk, Pamukkale, Fethiye, Kas, Antalya, Konya, Goreme, Nemrut, Sanliurfa, Tatvan, Van, Ankara, Hattusa, Gordion, Amasya, Sinop, Amasra, Safronbolu and back to home base in Izmit. It's difficult to go anywhere when you are working full time.
