Great rigoletto 2014-01-03 10:44

hi way. splendid photo from your visit to the anan creek. i am curious, was it a walking safari or one needs to stay inside the observatory and watch them behind binoculars? yes, the question is a bit silly when you think about the dangers of a walking tour, but i was shocked to learn about some available walking safaris in tanzania, of course attended by some armed watchmen.

Default To rigoletto: Walking Tour.

It is a short walking distance to the viewing area, there are rangers in the front and in the back with weapon, just in case. We had to make lots of noise to scare them away. Usually they are busy fishing, and they avoid people, but occasionaly you will come too close and have to back away and wait till they leave. We have a viewing platform and we stay inside a camaflage hut down near the river to see them catching fishes.
