Great tyro 2013-12-30 15:00

Hello Gladys,

Yes, sometimes the light after storms and very heavy rain can almost seem surreal and you have captured that feeling perfectly in this fine photograph.

The light on the foreground grass and the flooded field is lovely and it also makes the old tree stand out magically against that inky and threatening sky. Lovely light and colours, good composition, perfect exposure and excellent details and sharpness.

Best Wishes for the New Year,

Of course I have a strong attachment for TE, because this is where I learnt my photography and made so many friends! PF is also good, but the restrictions in number of posts I can do & mraking pictures as favs puts me off from posting there.

I post in 500px...its a large site with lots of photographers, but the quality of pictures are excellent. But again in that site, most of the comments on pictures are useless & people are running after points (or likes/favs etc)...but I get a lot of ideas seeing great pictures.

I also post in, which has been created by some guys from 500px...they invited me to post. The daily life, street & macros are excellent in that site & some landscapes.

You can check the sites and see...if you find them to your expectations, I'll see you there as well :-)

Happy New Year once again Way!
