Great holmertz 2013-12-14 10:59

Hello Malgo,
This is close to a perfect composition. The wedding couple are standing very nicely at the side of the arch which frames the undisturbed view of the background perfectly. I like the look of the typical English small town in the valley and the ruins on top of the hill. The colours are really superb and I enjoy the large size, although I have noticed that some members don't like the scrolling.
In Odessa I also "borrowed" several newly wed couples, and although they had quite nice backgrounds they were not as fine as this one. It's interesting also to learn of the connection between Whitby and another charming town, Sighisoara, through the Dracula legend ;-).
Kind regards,

Talking To holmertz: Dracula

Hi Gert, After visiting now Whitby and earlier Sighisoara and Bran in Romania I am dracula specialist . and also Cook specialist, he was born in Middlesbrough where now Mariusz lives and I saw the Cook's cottage in Melbourne.
Here the couple is unsharp but the light was not so good, we were waiting for blue hour.
I really enjoy the large size. The best is imho 1200 pixels wide. With vertical format it is a bit of scrolling. But when the photo is too big and you have to scroll in both directions, and can't see the whole composition, such photos I do not like.
Warm regards from Warsaw (at last ). yes, only six trips this year .
