Great Royaldevon 2013-09-17 3:29

Hello Will,

Private moment or not, it has been a pure bonus for you. I just love this! You have captured a mood on which people can put their own interpretation but, it has all the qualities of a really good oil painting. The light, the composition, the dof, all work so well together. Those entrancing eyes are perfectly placed for maximum effect.

Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: hand-holding

Hello Bev
In my note I refer to hand-holding the camera. What I meant was that I didn't use a tripod. Instead the camera was lying on the table, pointing in the girl's general direction. I did have my remote shutter release with me, so I just waited for an expression. So the composition, which you're kind enough to praise, is the result of fairly hefty cropping in the editing phase from a much larger area, which included a lot of visual irrelevancy: including him!

Wink Irrelevances

I'm sure HE was an irrelevance.
There would have been no mystery with HIM included!!!

Composition is fine if edited rather than composed in camera.
The skill is to see the composition.

Kind regards,
