Great holmertz 2013-08-12 10:20

Hello Russ,
What a great memory and a very intense photo. The sharpness may not be perfect, but after all this was almost 34 years ago.
I will always regret that I didn't see his last concert in Stockholm. I had started a job at the major newspaper one or two days before and I was very tired from the new experiences and needed to get up early in the mornings. So I didn't bother, and one year later he was dead. What a shame.
KInd regards,
Gert

Smile To holmertz: Understandable fatigue!

I know newspaper work -- although I never worked on a "major" paper, the hours can be long and inflexible, even (in my case) on a small-town weekly with a circulation of 2500! Of course, at "The Harper Advocate" in Harper, Kansas, there was a total staff of FOUR -- so we each had many jobs related to producing 16 pages every week!

Best regards,

Russ
