Great holmertz 2013-08-02 11:34

Hello Russ,
So, I guess you're not in Kansas anymore ;-). The ice crystals of Kansas are probably much nicer than those in Texas, if there ever are any. The patterns are marvellous and the colors have kept very well through the ages.
Kind regards,
Gert

Smile To holmertz: Thank you, Gert!

There are not many nights that can produce this effect in central Texas -- thank goodness! I bet you are familiar with it, though, in your climate!

Thank you also for liking the colors -- they do, to me, convey the blue-cold chill of the night and the soft pink warmth of the rising winter sun.

Have a great weekend!
