Great abmdsudi 2013-07-22 9:42

Hi Ally
Welcome back after three months, Apa kahbar!
For a few days, Singapore too nearly came to almost stand still due do thick smoke pollution coming from burning oil palm plantation from our neighbouring country across the straits. The level of psi in your shot could easily reads 70-100, it made me stop and think about what they are doing to the environment and it has become a source of concern for the whole of SEA.

However the story seems the same every year and Profit rules whatever the cost, a picture as a reminder of how they are allowing our world to be destroyed but people will always pay for their greed in the end. As a combined story & photo it makes a good piece of photo journalism. You shot says a lot. Very well done.
Best regards

Hi Abmdsudi,

Indonesian goverment promised will settled this problem within a month, but now seem they forgot what they had promise. They are not yet take action and sue the company or personal that involved in open air buring activitie, even the hot spots raise up to 200++ at yesterday. The burning activities are under control during the SEA meeting period, but just after the meeting, haze come back again. We are disappointed with Indonesia goverment.
