Great ACL1978 2013-06-16 13:26

Hello Deniz - I'm sorry I've missed so many of your recent shots, which are wonderful! I had to comment on this one, though, as it's hard for me to even believe this is a photo! The man here looks painted in pastels as he stares into the unnatural glow of the water. That's almost certainly the result of the settings and lack of tripod, and what's wonderful is that it creates a soft, ethereal effect that would have been lost otherwise. This is a shot I could easily see as a book cover for a Very Serious Novel! Fascinating shot.

PS - not to mention... handheld at 1.3 seconds! Incredible! I could maybe pull off this level of sharpness at 1/5, but to hold this that long is a work of art in itself.
