Hello Konrad,
interesting POV! Iīve seen quite a lot of photos (not only on TrekEarth) depicting Spissky Hrad - and they all look the same (as far as I remember ... there hasnīt ever been anything spectacular).
This one, however, is quite different. Itīs not taken from somewhere beyond the castle, but from the same level. And from the distance.
I always thought that this castle would be standing somewhere in the middle of nowhere, but in your picture we can see that this is not true. Thereīs a nice little town beyond it. And there is also the view to snow-covered mountains (in the background). What are they called?
The trees in the foreground are a good structuring element. I also like the fact that you didnīt center the castle. In my opinion itīs however a little bit to close to the right edge of the photo.
All in all a very well executed, and most of all very "enlightening" photo. I learned a lot.
