Ohh, my favourite: monochrome! Beautiful framing for the figure, which brings life and animation to the photograph. Love the shafts of light too. Right out of the top drawer.

I'm pretty sure that my daughter Katie took a very similar shot to this in the same location, but concentrating just on the light shafts. She was 18 when she went travelling for 6 months with another girl of the same age. What were we thinking?? But she was fine, and is now doing her MA in photography. She's a lot better than me...
