Great tyro 2012-05-07 7:18

Hello Gladys,

Again, your early morning wakening has triumphed and you have cai=ught a picture which many of us will not have seen as we were all still abed! And, if your camera "clock" is correct, this was taken just before 6 a.m.

Now, I suspect that you were looking north here because I can see warm sunlight on the faces of those sheep and lambs. The same light has also given a lovely warmth to the mist still hanging in the valley, particularly at its right (?eastward) side and also the trees in the mid-distance though to a lesser extent. It's lovely too how you can just peek and catch a little glimpse of the river way down below in the valley beneath the mist.

Lovely soft colours, perfect exposure and excellent sharpness.

Kind Regards,

Default To tyro: Mist In The Valley

Hello John
Glad you like the picture.
Now ,as for the direction I was facing to take it, I would have said `East`,but if you were to ask Les he would say `Don`t ever take notice of any directions from Glad, she doesn`t know her right from her left`
Best Wishes Gladys
