Great photoray 2012-02-17 7:18

Howdy Karen,

Fine composition for focusing on the gnarly tree trunk, instead of one of the National Park's iconic stone arches.

And the subdued lighting is natural, Well done,

Default To photoray: arches

Hello Ray, thanks for the kind words regarding my arches photo. It is so easy to get stuck taking photos of all the iconic and famous rock formation in that park and if time had allowed I would have ventured off the beaten path a little more. But then that gives me a reason to go back there again someday.
Have a great day,

Smile "Do Overs" Arches National Park

Howdy Karen,

Yes indeed you should return to Arches for "Do OVers".

The Colorado Plateau is certainly an unusual and magical place especially for photography. To explore most of it would be impossible in a lifetime, so we enjoy our few precious visits.

Keep up the fine photo imagery and have fun,
Ray Anderson
