Great robiuk 2005-03-29 19:43

Very good portrait, Steven.
I dunno how people there do without sunglasses.
Very vibrant colours... you did a good job on her dress (white parts).
Pls, tell me the reason for having sharpness, saturation & contrast settings on your camera on 'High',

Default To robiuk: Setup High

Thanks Robiuk for your nice comments.

Well as far as my setup are concerned, it just happened that I found the default camera result too flat to my taste. As I can't imagine post-processing all the picture recorded (9500 in the past 6 months with the 20D...), it's the basic solution I found to have most pictures ready to use or print.

Besides, since I'm shooting RAW, this setup does not affect the original file. I can restore the setup to default or low if need be using the raw converter software. It means that built-in setup can be canceled after you shot, providing you shoot under RAW. It's not possible in JPG.

Have a nice evening !

Many thanks Steven!

Silly me - didn't think of that possibility!

Again, great pic!
