Great InasiaJones 2011-05-18 11:04

Hi Stefan,

I've read the same information concerning Solitaire and its famous apple pie, so we will stop there for sure. Hopefully, there will still be petrol though...

I'm reassured to see that the colours of this car wreck are still vivid, as I have seen it on a multitude of websites, while preparing our trip, not being sure about the sun effect after such a long exposure to the elements.

This car, of what is left of it, offers a fantastic mix of colours with the blue sky, and you did the right thing by using your polarizer, as it contrast the clouds and make the colours deep and vivid.

A nice and different interpretation from the versions I've seen previously. Well done!

André

Thanks for your critique. Regarding the petrol, there is an Engen at the entrance to Namib-Naukluft NP. We came from the north and I recommend you to fill your vhicle at the gate before leaving the area either you go south or north .

The colours of the car... hm I actually believe they are paintin it on a regular basis. Look at the front and you can see the rust.
