Great Rinie_Hoff 2005-03-25 17:19

Hello Tai, nice to see you again! And what a shot. Beautiful light on the mountain, and the mountains in the background, surrounded bu the clouds, are very nice!
Quite a big group, and I'm surprised that they had to use ropes here
I don't konw if you want to share something of your usual PP, but I always like your tones so very much, there such a nice dark tone in it. I think especially your streetshots are always so nice!

Default To Rinie_Hoff: PP treatment

My PP treatment is quite standard for all my photos:
1. Reduce noise using NeatImage. I developed 3 settings, depending on the noise level
2. Adjust colour balance: red +3 to +5, green -3 to -5 and yellow +4 to +6. The yellow is to add some soft tones to the shot
3. Boost saturation from +5% to +10%
4. Boost contract by +4 to +8
5. Reduce highlights by -4 to -8
6. Increase or reduce mid-tones (depending on the light levels)
7. Reduce brightness if needed
8. Crop and resize
9. Sharpen slightly
10. Add borders
