Bonjour John,

Le point de vue est assez étonnant et on se demande si tu veux mettre en valeur les arbustes ou le château. Il y a un peu trop d'informations.

I agree that this is not a very good photograph! I was disappointed with the lighting and the composition and I rather think now that I should not have posted this picture today. It was, however, rather difficult to achieve a good view of the castle without all the scaffolding being seen and I thought that disguising those features behind the trees might be helpful. But, as you say, the outcome is less than satisfactory. Not a good photograph!

I am sorry that you find my note too lengthy. Personally, I like to read detailed notes from photographers and find them interesting. I have learned more here from peoples' notes than I have from just looking at their photographs. In fact, the moderators here severely criticise (and quite rightly) those people who write inadequate notes.
