interesting and enjoyable write up. Amazing how men and women are so different, yet so much the same.

as for the photo itself, the gap between the two people really enhances the effect, very dramatic.
also, the lines are spectacular.
well seen and captured.

I guess we all bottle up or give the other the silent treatment form time to time - although in my experience there's also a generational component in such cliches. my mother for instance was convinced that two people who are close don't need words - she never spoke out and then demanded form me or my father that we would read her mind... and I hated it
maybe that's why I like clarifications so much, ahahah!

regarding the photo, the whole Défense quarter is spectacular, but this corner is so special with all the white stones... actually it looks a lot like a mental health institution, with all that white - somehow it reminded me of Orwell's 1984, where he talks about room 101...
