Great eversmile 2010-03-01 1:40

Hi Stefano

This luminous image from Iran is very surprising. Maybe because, until now, you only presented us the narrow streets of Yazd, or the confined spaces of mosques. The sky seems to rush to the screen, with an electric response of the earth with this long pool. Excellent composition, with the line of the pool that directs our look to the entry of the mosque and the trio in which the child in bright colors between the dark silhouettes of the parents seems like a ponctuation... the fact that they are just situated on the line implicates the idea of their future. And the child become the symbol of the hope they can have in it, all together. Congratulations!

I wonder if when it is really hot, people do seat around the pool, legs in it? Or is it "ayip"?

Default To eversmile: pool

Hello Marine and thank you for your comments.
The temperature in April was typical of some nice spring. Not really hot,
but pleasant. The pool is not for swim. I havent' seent people with legs in it.
It is a big fountain. Consider that the image shows only half of the square.
The first day I was in Esfahan the pool was empty. Then they filled it with water.
I will post other pictures of this place. I have so many...
Ciao Stefano
