Bonsoir Nikki! Merci :))) You also forget to change things but we learn! The turtle is meanwhile world-famous but it is always a great pleasure to have it back. I wonder if they had the Kloster St. Gallen going up, I really want to see that on day. I don't mind the fog at all, this is really pretty, I mean there is no way to copy moments, each take-off is different, and the feeling that goes with it. Nice the church on the ground, quite a few people watching the spectacle. Have a great night, bonne soirée ... Barbara.

Default To baba_flies: Kloster St. Gallen

Hi Barbara
This year your Kloster wasn't there but even if it was I probably wouldn't have posted a photo of it as I already did 3 years ago: my Flying Papagolfade. I didn't know this one was world famous.
Thanks for your visit.

I just got the article out (I kept it). The "Kloster St. Gallen" won a Artheon Art price in 2008. Obviously this price has to do with contemporary art and churches. Not that I knew of such a price :))) LOL. I keep these things that are connected with St. Gallen where we have the cottage. We have sometimes guests from Switzerland but also from abroad and I think it is kind of nice to keep them uptodate what is going on in the area.

The turtle by the way was shown in some flying magazine, last year ... as far as I remember.
