Hi Barbara,
Wow has Grand Junction changed since I last saw it many years ago when we used to ski in Aspen. Just look at all those pools in a snow area!!

A GPS is the only way to go, when we were in Ireland the GPS only had maps for the Republic and not North Ireland. However, even though we could route ourselves to an address, the GPS weould still tell us the names of the upcoming streets - a HUGE help.

Oh yes, I have never been there before but last and this year but it is going to change much much more with the oil they have in their back yard. People from the airport have told me that some of the area looks like a Christmas tree when you fly over at night with the plants they have established (okay, I agree, why flying a Cessna and complaining at the same time about changements). People come from everywhere and hope for a good salary ... another gold rush. But it is still a beautiful area, at least for me but someone told me that he came from Denver to escape the crowds and now he sees this part changing too. So it goes ...
