Great johnfreeman 2007-12-17 5:43

Hello Harry,
I've been admiring the pictures in your gallery in general and was particularly struck by this working man series. I've always had great admiration for photographers who can shoot people (I'm limited to scenes that stay perfectly still!). This shot is perfectly composed and there's also a wonderful dynamic range, with the white sparks of the welding balancing the dark shadow areas. "Work as art" is a very apt title.
Inspired by your example, I've downloaded Paintshop Pro on a 30-day trial to experiment with that Clarify filter...

Default To johnfreeman: know how you feel

Im exactly the same, as you probably noticed, the only pictures where I am close to people is the ones taken at work, I don't know why, but it feels easier than on the street, maybe because I am expected to document the work and then doesn't really feel like people are noticing me, it is not at all like poking a SLR in the face of strangers:))

Good luck with PSP, be carefull though, it can be quite addictive, because it is so easy to do and you can get quite stunning results in no time. But it is also easy to overdo it, as you have probably seen in some of my pictures.
