Harry -

It's an intriguing view of curves and angles, and shows the warm colors of the stones. But you do have a couple of problems. First is the overbright light in the center rear, a common problem when taking a picture with many different light levels. That one can often be fixed in PP, but it's a hard one (for me, at least). Try selecting for it and lowering the saturation or playing with Levels or Curves to see what you can do about it.

The other problem is the tilt, which can be corrected with cropping.

Default To Wandering_Dan: Re: your comments on 'Old City Alley'

I knew I have a problem with the rear. It was due to the alley way opening up into a bright open area with an abundance of sunshine, as mentioned in my comment. I tried fixing it but I couldn't.

I don't understand how I could correct the 'tilt' problem with cropping.

If you have Photoshop, especially CS3, you can set up the crop, then click the Perspective box on, and pull at the edges of the crop until the tilt is corrected. Another way which might work on this photo is to use Rotate at a specific degree.

Correcting whiteout is much more of a pain. At least once, I've resorted to wholesale cloning from another image - and it showed.

Rgeards,
Dan
