Great Bruno40 2007-09-12 3:56

Hi Henk
Great portrait, really nice how you present her.
I wonder if some part of the upper part could be cropped. What do you think?
Portraits is my weakest point, so I want to learn from you.

Default To Bruno40: crop

Hi Jorge,
I was thinking at that initially too and I compare often other crops. Here I left the rather wider view like she was more isolated lonely in her old life and another reason was the sign on the wall on top and the nice pillar.
Once a fine photographer DiaAzul give me the hint to include more the environment as I was rather close tight before and by trying I thought he was right not to isolate all the people from their environment, only when you got a most expressive face then it is worth to give it a go as the environment is not that enhancing.
Thanks for the question, one I asked myself before :).
Henk
