Interesting view here. The house and parking area seem so odd right there in the middle of all this green. It is made even more interesting with the wind turbines in the background. Even with their distance they seem gigantic on the scene and give this a sort of futuristic feel. One of a green and environmentally friendly world of well manicured land. Perhaps it could be cropped a bit at top and bottom and use some levels or curves adjustments and sharpening. It certainly is a nice area they live in there.

I am also curious. Do the farmers get any sort of compensation for the turbines on their property or is it on public land? I learned here the companies pay up to 2000 dollars per year to the farmers who own the land they use. This way it creates clean power and helps the farmer.

Default To pamastro: wind turbines

Thank you for your interest, Paul. From what I know the farmers in Denmark finance the turbines themselves which allows them to be less exposed to fluctuating energy prices. My brother in law and his sons (they have four farms between them) also use hay-furnaces for heating the houses and the outbuildings. That way they can produce the raw material for heating themselves. And in a country like Denmark you always get subsidies and grants whenever you help to take the pressure of the public energy supply. So it's a win-win situation between farmer and society that way.
Kind regards
