Great Davidwh 2006-05-23 10:28

Hi Jean,
In my opinion it was not an easy task to capture a good image of this subject with most of it being almost white. You though have done a good job managing to keep the light well balanced, sharp detail, good contrast and the sky not over exposed.Nicely composed though maybe you could have avoided cutting the FG stones.
Regards, David

Default To Davidwh: No feasible solution with the cropped tombstone

Hi David,

Thanks for pointing this nice problem "Davidwh said Nicely composed though maybe you could have avoided cutting the FG stones..." For your convenience, I placed the original shot in the workshop and tried to solved the problem of the missing parts of few tombstones as follow...

The problem with the cropping was the white garage at lower right. FORJP001 get rid of it by cropping the right part and few millimeters of the tombstone...a choice...

Now with the white tombstone in the foreground: If the photographer was few paces back the white tombstones would be entire but others new one (tombstone) will rise in the foreground incomplete...

It seems to be no feasible solution...
