Great celinaconroy 2006-04-27 4:37

Hi Sebastien,

Nice shot of the main open space at Petra. It's a good imge with a wide perspective, which ;you don't often see, and one that incorporates two of the main features at Petra, the so-called tombs and the temple.

Just to add to the mystery of what the rock structures represent - some theorists think that they may also have been merchant dwellings and shops which sold, amongst other things, the very fine pottery that was scattered around the massive site. But who knows!

Anyway, well done.

Celina

Yes Celina i can believe you and the theoristics you advance cause i've also heard that when i was in jordan ... they were saying that it was a place hidden due to the location where they could market a lot of things, tresury from war, and lot of other things .... but will we know that one day ?

Thanks for your comment, well documented one :)

Have a good day

Sébastien
