Great Guntram 2006-03-07 4:35

Namaste Rakesh,
... long time since I have visited the site, but you give me a nice very personal reminder agaiin (Ican even see the place where I was staying).
It's a pity that the tower was built so very close to the historical site here, modern times have other interests. Anyway, I would never crop it out of the photo, as the tower has definitely become somewhat like a landmark in Bundi, even if one doesn't like it - it's there today.
You did a good job capturing the sight from a running bus. Have you ever walked up the hill to fort?? Very exhaustive and a little bit dangerous due to the "millions" of wild monkeys up there. Seems they have taken over the rule of the monument ...
Thanks for sharing

Default To Guntram: Namaste,

Namaste Guntram,
Even being so close to Bundi (35Kms) I never went up the hills. Even I regularly visit city but definately will visit. It is TE that forces me to see and feel the real taste of life.
