Great Suppaiku 2006-02-14 21:39

I rate it because I appreciate your work. It shows how much Japan has changed since the Edo period but we can find some permanent things as well in architecture sometimes. Pizzas have replaced the noisy tea houses of Jippensha Ikku... Very japanese : look inside the house, there is a snow man (bonhomme de neige, I do not know in english, sorry / yuki daruma in japanese).

Default To Suppaiku: thank you

Thank you for your clitique.
Sorry these are all of Shimada for now.
As I am living in Hamamatsu, there will be some other shots along Tokaido.
Last time, I visited Shimada to see an exhibition of wood prints by Kawase Hasui(1883-1957).

If you fell something traditional in today's Japan, he must be your choice.
