Amazing light on this photograph. It is simply beautiful. your composition and point of view is very well chosen. Is it safe now to visit angola as a tourist? This place is a photographer's delight. TFS.

Default To erdna: Angola

Hello Andre,

It's true a cease-fire was signed in 2002 in Angola but the country remains one of the most spoiled in the world with landmines so I don't think it would be safe to go there as a tourist today. Let's mention common outbreaks of Ebola and Dengue fever to finish with...

I would say, it may be possible to visit Luanda without much problems, the Kissama National park too and the Namib desert in the south part of the country.

I met few people who visited the inland, saw amazing waterfall, mountain landscapes and came back safely but I feel that such a trip must absolutely be done with experimented Angolan people. To my knowledge, there is unfortunately no agency able to organize such a trip.

Have a nice evening !
