Thanks for stopping by... always interested in hearing your thoughts. The original photo as you can imagine is like the rest of the background- a skate park. I like this shot because he's caught in mid action coming right at me- and it's quite clear. I came about the idea of having him 'pop' out of the frame when I was cropping (cropped horizontally- not vertically). I used the margue tool (top left corner of the photoshop pallette), to select an area (the inside bit), then I inverted selection (the now black bit), I then manually removed the arms and board from the selection and turned it black. Finished off with another border of the white and black edge. Glad you like it Eric!
