Great HOBO 2005-05-14 15:10

Superb light conditions you caught here, Robert. Quite difficult to manage; I like the strong contrast against the Rosskopf and of course to the Münster. Well done!

Default To HOBO: Thankyou, but the credit belongs more to nature

Thankyou, but nature provided the conditions that were not actually so hard to capture. I bracketted the exposure to ensure I got a good shot, but the cloud behind the houses was very dark, but the evening light behind me was very bright, so the strong contrast was there to be seen :)

However, I don't know the term Rosskopt. I'm guessing that's the red roofs?

Good morning Robert,

Rosskopf is the name of the mountain behind the Münster.

In my 'young and pretty' days, I went to school in Freiburg, a marvellous time in a beautiful city!
Now I'm living in the Rhein - Main area and Freiburg is still a destination for me to visit.

Have a nice day,
