Ha! Ha! No, your name is Jorge! 😆

George is a very famous saint and important in the theology of many countries.
St. George is the patron saint of England.

You have captured the icon very well, clearly showing the saint at the centre and all his tribulations around the edges. I have definitely learned a little more about our patron saint from your notes.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

First, sorry for keeping you waiting. I hope you found it worth the wait!!

Thank you so much for your warm and poetic critique.
You know, I find it a real sadness that the word 'gay' has such different, modern connotations.
It's a word that hasn't quite been replaced since it lost its original meaning.
Still 'gaiety' hasn't quite moved into that bracket, yet!

Isn't it funny how we remember poetry from childhood.
I can still recite the whole 'The Owl and the Pussycat' and most of the 'The Highwayman'.
Fortunately, Milton's 'Paradise Lost' has mostly faded into oblivion.

Hope you are both well and, also, keep safe,

Default Found it!

Hello Bev,

At long last! I eventually found your workshop photograph - and a very fine one it is too. Not sure quite which one I prefer - but I'll probably just stick with your main one as they are not all that dissimilar.

Take care.

Kind Regards,
