Hello Ike,
This photo from 2012 made me rather puzzled. Or rather, comparing this view with the Google map view made me very puzzled. I wanted to see what the street where you were standing would look like now. As expected, the wires hanging all over the street seemed gone, and most of the buildings on the right side also seemed to have been replaced since 2012. But the very modern glass building to the left was sometimes there, sometimes not, as if the Google car had been there before 2012 and also much later, mixing old and new photos. But even when the glass building was there, I couldn't see it from the same perspective as in this photo. It seemed to be much further away from the Shalom-Meir Tower.
Well, I certainly had time to have a good look at this "semi-oldie". ;-)

To holmertz: The wires
Good morning Gert,
The map location is upon the Shalom tower, but the sreet view is a different spot on the map, and the wires still exist there even as she years past. The small street south of the tower, the Florentine quarter still has some old issues to address. Thanks and a nice new day, Ike
