Great Royaldevon 2020-01-15 3:50

Hello Gert,

This really does show a vast expanse of city!
It could be that this couple are gazing down on a place hardly changed for hundreds of years.
This photograph has scanned better than the w/s but they both reveal an ancient place.
Turkey must be one of the best places to view ancient cities and ruins from many different cultures.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: scan

Thank you Bev,
I am sorry to have to tell you that the main photo didn't scan well at all. That was the reason I converted it to B&W. I should have done the same with the WS but decided it didn't matter much with a complementary photo that most people will not look at anyway.
Best wishes,
Gert

Default Scanned Photographs

Ha! Ha! Your secret is safe.
It's just so good that these old photographs can be scanned and offer us such wonderful details of times gone by.

Regards,
Bev
