Great Royaldevon 2020-09-18 0:48

Hello Paul,

Two very pleasing photographs and I cannot help but be impressed by the depth of the colours and the sharpness of the exposures.

I love thee title of your main shot, with the geese trotting down the road, which I hasten to add is the left side, so they must have learned the road safety skills in the U.K!
The sunlight on the building makes it positively glow!

Love the w/s, too, which could easily have been a main post!

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

I have just been watching the second series of 'The Bridge' which I just love. It's the Øresund Bridge linking Sweden and Denmark! Love to see them travelling over that bridge!

Thank you Beverley,

There is also one goose on the right side of the street.
Expelled from the group ? Or totally integrated in Sweden ?

Best regards,

Hello Bev and Paul,
Swedish children (and probably geese too) are taught that you drive on the right side but you walk on the left, so you will face oncoming cars. Clearly these birds are careful to follow local traffic rules. The fourth goose is off the street, which is okay on any side.
Have a nice weekend,

Default Children, geese and elderly people

Hello Gert and Beverley,

Children in Belgium are taught the same.
But some elderly people in this country forget everything they have ever learned

PS: From now on I will look at geese in a different way

Best regards,

To Paul and Gert, such well trained geese!

The fourth goose, is learning how to cross the road safely.

We had a jingle in the UK, for children and geese, to follow.

"Look right, look left, before you cross the street!
Look right again, before you move feet!"

Things learned in childhood seem to last forever!

Have a good w/e,
