Another thing : why should French people learn English, and why English speaking people not French ?

Err... because english is much more spoken in the world than french... and so, much more useful to learn. If you live in Japan or Venezuela, what do you think you should learn first?

Cheers,

ha ha
another idot thread..

Some of us do in fact have to learn a #2 language and then to fulfill the arrogance of the French who ONLY have to learn English (in worst case) - but usually dont have a need to also learn a #3 language..

I started at TE because of photos not in need of learning French..

Now how much BIGGER is French than SPANISH or PORTUGUESE or CHINESE or JAPANISH or RUSSIAN...

are we in here for language stupidity or for communicating to each other in ONE laguage beside of the beatiful photos...

hm... just asking

...and still I'm the one with a holiday home in South of France (Collioure in Languedoc- Rosuillon) - you know all Frenchmen the region LANGUEDOC the one where people says DOC for yes - before it was annected by France.. ;-)

..thinking about it - better to learn some Catalan...

"idot thread", "the arrogance of the French"...

err... are u the same jrj that wrote yesterday "according to the TOS, rude comments are not permitted on TrekEarth" after he misundestood me and saw rudeness when there were absolutly nothing?

BTW, the one who wrote "why should French people learn English, and why English speaking people not French" is not a french but a dutch speaking belgish... So what the "arrogance of the French" got to do with that?

Ulf

hubbub.

TE has always supported more languages. It would be easier if it was only english . . . but there is a good translation option. If you want to reach as many as possible English/Engrish is better :}

Or Frenglish?
