Default To valentinos: Flash

if you are interested on advanced flash techniques try this one here
there are many techniques to lead the light where you want to. You must calculate the ambient daylight, the spot lights (lamps, or electricity in general)
and of course how much light you want to fill your subject with.
diffusers, bounce, speed, fast speed, low speed to capture the background ambient light, iso settings, there are many variables to calculate.
I've noticed you have some major L lenses, perhaps the internal flash unit of your camera, won't help much since the light will strike on the lens part and not on the scene in some cases, especially when you use a hood!

Many Regards
