Hello Paul,
It's easy to understand why you fell in love with these graphically beautiful hills. The lake and forest nicely complement the view of the plantation. The WS photos are attractive postcards but this is the "artistically" nicest. While Darjeeling and Assam teas are world famous I have a feeling we don't hear much of Munnar teas. Is the quality not as good, or is it so good that the Indians prefer it for themselves? Or am I just not well informed?

Thank you Gert,
I do indeed think that this tea (Munnar) is less exported. I don't know about Darjeeling and Assam. But Munnar is actually known for visiting the region and some of the tea factories. But tea is not an item that you absolutely must buy there. Not like chocolates in Belgium or coffee in Colombia or Nicaragua. Best regards, Paul
